Lee was born September 1968 in Fayetteville, NC. He graduated from Arizona State University with a BS in Architectural Design in 2003 and his Masters in Architecture in 2005. While in Arizona, Lee worked with some of the largest firs in the nation. A few weeks into his first semester at ASU, he was offered an intern position with DLR Group, working on several school projects in the Phoenix and Sacramento, CA areas. After graduation, Lee went to work with SmithGroup in Phoenix where he worked on a variety of projects, from high-rise office buildings, educational projects for both Arizona State University and University of Arizona, and other institutional and research projects. After the birth of his son, Lee moved to COrgan Associates Inc. There, he worked on large-scale airport projects, including Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and Sacramento International Airport. Along with the airport projects, he worked on a number of governmental projects for the Army Corp of Engineers; including office buildings for both Ft. Hood in Waco, TX and Ft. Bliss in El Paso, TX.
Lee has lived in various locations throughout the country, including most states in the southeast and along the east coast. Attended high school in PIttsburgh, PA and later moved to Chicago, IL. After 8 years in Chicago, Lee went to the University of Kentucky to study architecture. After one year, he transferred to Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ to complete his degree.
Lee moved to Connecticut in the summer of 2010 after his wife took a new job in Norwalk, CT. Aside from architecture, Lee is an avid sports fan, mainly baseball and college football. Other interests include music, computers and playing any number of sports, mainly softball.
