GISNY has been in existence for almost 30 years and they have continually added to, and improved, the elementary school building they have purchased from the City of White Plains back in the 1990s.

Among recent projects that Partners for Architecture has designed for them is the creation of an enlarged cafeteria with an added floor that houses a library, media center, teacher’s lounge and offices. The new basement accommodates the maintenance department, the school archives and storage.
