Staten Island Solar City

 Staten Island Solar City – Green Zone Conceptual design and visualizations of a proposed Solar City along the Arthur Kill on Staten Island. Partners For Architecture helped the client to design and visualize a sustainable and self sustaining Solar City development. Our scope included presentations to authorities such as DEP and DECD.
The development facilities include a Renewable Energy School, Solar Store, Solar car ports and recharging stations, Hydroponic Greenhouses and a Market Plaza, Solar Barges for recharging boats, and wind turbines. Solar energy farms located on the site will generate electricity to be used on site, any excess capacity is exported to the grid.
